A key highlight of the weekend was the collaboration with the Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland, whose live performances inside the cathedral complemented the outdoor projection. Their ‘Peace & Light’ concert, which sold out in record time, added an additional emotional dimension to the event, reinforcing the project’s core themes of unity, creativity and connection. Together, the projection and live music created a multi-sensory experience that extended beyond the façade and into the heart of the venue.
The response from audiences and stakeholders was overwhelmingly positive, with the event widely regarded as a standout moment in Dundalk’s Christmas programme. By combining technical precision with creative storytelling, we were able to deliver a memorable and meaningful experience that not only showcased the potential of projection mapping, but also strengthened the connection between place, people and culture.
