The immersive show – combining projections, light and sound – was not only viewed by thousands of St Andrew’s residents of all ages, it was also streamed online via The Open’s social channel to an international audience. The video was available on The Open website and has been shared widely on social media. Images were circulated in the press and used on television networks.
The timing of the show presented us with an opportunity to show support for the people of Ukraine. In a poignant moment, we projected their yellow and blue flag onto the sandstone clubhouse. The image was shared extensively on social media and in the press.
