EUROPEAN GUERRILLA PROJECTION TOUR

Introducing MC20 THE FIRST OF ITS KIND

Double Take Projections were commissioned by Ultra Studio London to project the iconic Maserati logo onto some of the world’s most famous buildings. They wanted us to ‘hijack’ Europe with a series of disruptive strikes that would match the audacious future of the brand.
London, Paris & Berlin were handpicked as locations that reflected Maserati’s maverick mindset. 3 cities of 3 nights during a pandemic, capturing each projection stunt and creating iconic images. The epic scale of our stunt allowed the client to sell this story around the world on their social media channels and build excitement for the launch event of the custom-built, MC20 – Maserati’s first supercar for 15 years.

Trident

To promote the launch of Maserati’s new MC20 and herald its projection into the future, we set off across Europe and the UK on a guerrilla-projection mission with Ultra Brand. On 4th September the symbol of Maserati’s Trident appeared in London, on 6th in Paris and on 8th in Berlin. Double Take Projections illuminated The Shard, Millennium Dome, Tate Modern, Canary Wharf, London Bridge and Battersea Power Station in London; The Eifel Tower, Colonnade de Perrault and Centre Pompidou in Paris and the Berlin Television Tower. Double Take Projections created a canvas resembling the spokes of the Maserati Trident logo. The images were projected and captured by our team; edited and uploaded for use in Maserati’s social media campaign.
