KLOPP

Liverpool Murals

Brought to life through a specially recorded narration by George Sephton – widely recognised as the “Voice of Anfield” – our projection captured the emotional connection between the manager, club, and community. Working in collaboration with street art specialists MurWalls, our team developed a bespoke visual treatment that elevated the existing artwork into a living, breathing tribute.

HOW WE DID IT

Canvas for Storytelling

We were proud to deliver a deeply moving projection experience celebrating Jürgen Klopp, marking his forthcoming departure from Liverpool Football Club. Set against the now-iconic Klopp mural on Burnand Street in Anfield, the project transformed a familiar piece of street art into a powerful canvas for storytelling – uniting poetry, voice, and animation in a heartfelt tribute to one of football’s most influential figures.

The Voice of Anfield

At the heart of the piece was Our Klopp, an original poem written by Liverpool-based creative Sean Cullen. Brought to life through a specially recorded narration by George Sephton – widely recognised as the “Voice of Anfield” – the work captured the emotional connection between the manager, club, and community. The projection was carefully designed to synchronise Sephton’s unmistakable voice with dynamic, expressive animation, allowing the mural itself to evolve and respond to the rhythm and sentiment of the poem.

Living, Breathing Tribute

Working in collaboration with street art specialists MurWalls, our team developed a bespoke visual treatment that elevated the existing artwork into a living, breathing tribute. Through subtle motion design, layered lighting effects, and precise mapping, the projection added depth and atmosphere without losing the authenticity of the original mural – enhancing and exhibiting the artwork in a fresh, new light.

Resonating With Fans Across The World

Beyond the live moment, the installation was captured and edited into a dynamic social film, extending the reach of the experience far beyond Anfield. The result was a piece of content that resonated with fans across the world, amplifying the emotional impact of the tribute and serving as a lasting farewell and thank you to Klopp’s legacy. This project stands as a powerful example of how projection can be used not just to illuminate surfaces, but to tell meaningful, human stories that connect deeply with audiences.
